Super Lawyers is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The patented selection process includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations. This is one of the most prestigious recognitions within the profession.
Martindale-Hubbell’s Preeminent designation recognizes attorneys that have earned the highest rating in the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory and have been recognized by colleagues at being the best in their respective fields. This is one of the most respected honors within the profession.
VanDerGinst Law has been awarded the Better Business Bureau’s Torch Award for Ethics. It is believed to be the first time this honor has been bestowed upon a lawyer or law firm in this region. It is awarded to companies whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character and ensure that the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics.
The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 is an invitation-only organization of premier trial lawyers in the United States. Candidates must meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff trial lawyers. Membership is extended only to the select few of the most qualified attorneys from each state or region who demonstrate superior qualifications of leadership, reputation, influence, stature and public profile. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the Top 100 Civil Plaintiff Attorneys in both Illinois and Iowa.
Dennis VanDerGinst and VanDerGinst Law have been voted Best Attorney and Best Law Firm in Eastern Iowa/Western Illinois in 5 of the 6 years that this poll has existed.
The National Association of Distinguished Counsel promotes the highest standards of legal excellence by objectively recognizing attorneys who elevate the standards of law and provide benchmarks for other lawyers. Recipients of this award have demonstrated the highest ideals of the legal profession and only an elite few lawyers are invited to join the organization. This equates to less than 1% of practicing U.S. attorneys becoming members of the “Nation’s Top Attorneys.”
Best Attorneys of America® is extremely selective. Candidates are carefully screened and overall acceptance is limited to the most qualified and accomplished Attorneys in the United States. Less than 1% of Attorneys in the U.S. have been invited to even become a member. Becoming a Lifetime Charter Member is reserved for lawyers with an extraordinary level of legal expertise, competency, professional reputation, professionalism, and ethical standards. Lifetime Charter Membership is limited to 100 attorneys in each state.
Martindale-Hubbell’s Client Champion Award recognizes attorneys who excel based on the opinions of their clients. The award, based on the quantity and quality of an attorney’s Martindale-Hubbell client reviews, demonstrate an ongoing commitment to delivering excellent client service. Gold status is the highest honor in this category.
The Avvo Clients’ Choice award is given to lawyers who receive superb reviews from clients. It is only given to those who have ratings of 5 out of 5 stars.
The Million Dollar Advocates Forum is a prestigious group of trial lawyers in the United States. Membership includes only those attorneys who have achieved million and multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. Fewer than 1% of all U.S. lawyers are allowed membership into this organization. VanDerGinst Law accomplishes this numerous times year after year.
The Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum is awarded by the same prestigious group as the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Membership includes only those attorneys who have achieved multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements for their clients. There are even fewer of the 1% mentioned above who are allowed membership into this forum. VanDerGinst Law accomplishes this numerous times year after year.
The Avvo rating system uses the information in the attorney’s profile in addition to information collected from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Peer endorsements are also considered in the rating because one lawyer endorsing another lawyer’s skills and experience is a way to access industry recognition.
The American Society of Legal Advocates is an invitation-only organization of elite lawyers with exceptional legal credentials and a proven commitment to community engagement and the highest professional standards. Less than 1.5% of all lawyers in the United States were selected. ASLA’s Top 100 Lawyers and Top 40 Lawyers Under 40 listings recognize exceptional legal talent and early promise among the next generation of great lawyers.
Several of our attorneys and staff have been awarded selection to Who’s Who. Additionally, Dennis VanDerGinst has been awarded the prestigious Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Distinguished Justice Advocates is an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence. Less than 100 attorneys in each state are recognized, even fewer have been named as Lifetime Charter Members, as has Dennis VanDerGinst
The National Academy of Jurisprudence is an invitation-only professional organization, created for premier trial attorneys throughout the US.
VanDerGinst Law was selected as Best Injury Law Firm in the Midwest-U.S. The US Business News Legal Elite Awards celebrate the skill and dedication of firms, teams, and individuals from across the US, who help and support the legal process. The awards are the result of months of research and analysis from US Business News’ dedicated awards team.
VanDerGinst Law is a Better Business Bureau accredited business. VanDerGinst Law abides by the BBB standards of building trust, advertising honestly, telling the truth, being transparent, honoring promises, being responsive, safeguarding privacy, and embodying integrity.
The American Institute of Legal Professionals is a organization made up of premier trial attorneys for each of the states. To be in this organization the attorney must meet very strict qualifications as a civil or criminal trial attorney. Membership is limited to only a select few in each state and/or region.
As with the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Top Motor Vehicle Trial Lawyer recognition is awarded only to the premier Motor Vehicle attorneys in the country. Only 25 are selected from each state. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the honorees in both Illinois and Iowa.
As with the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Top Nursing Home Trial Lawyer recognition is awarded only to the premier Nursing Home attorneys in the country. Only 10 are selected from each state. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the honorees in both Illinois and Iowa.
As with the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Top Brain Injury Trial Lawyer recognition is awarded only to the premier Brain Injury attorneys in the country. Only 25 are selected from each state. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the honorees in both Illinois and Iowa.
As with the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Top Trucking Trial Lawyer recognition is awarded only to the premier Trucking attorneys in the country. Only 10 are selected from each state. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the honorees in both Illinois and Iowa.
As with the National Trial Lawyers Top 100, the Top Product Liability Trial Lawyer recognition is awarded only to the premier Product Liability attorneys in the country. Only 25 are selected from each state. VanDerGinst has been selected as one of the honorees in both Illinois and Iowa.
