The University of Iowa Hospital is located in Iowa City and is Iowa’s only comprehensive academic medical center. The facility includes an adult tertiary hospital and children’s hospital, as well as a number of outreach clinics and programs.

The University of Iowa Hospital provides primary care as well as offering the services of board-certified physicians in more than 200 specialties, receiving referrals from physicians around the country.
