The Cook County Traffic Division handles cases related to minor and misdemeanor traffic violations, including traffic tickets, violations for driving under the influence (DUI), and driver’s license sanctions.

This does NOT include tickets issued for parking violations, red light camera violations, or most vehicle equipment violations.

Those cases are heard through municipality-established administrative hearing programs.
